Statement of use of donations
The dream of Paw Prints was formally established on May 23rd, 2007 through incorporation in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. After many months of searching for the ideal place to 'home' our guests, we occupied and began accepting residents on September 28, 2007 in scenic Spring Township, Perry County, Pennsylvania.
A 501(c)(3) public charity registered with the IRS. Your donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.
A critical ingredient in the relationship of a non-profit organization and its financial supporters is the transparency of “where does the money go?”
The Lyon and McCartin families financially support the total of the underlying physical plant of the sanctuary: mortgage, taxes and insurance.
Donations that you make (as well as the rental income of the farmhouse) flow totally (100%) to the ongoing costs of the sanctuary to support the lives and welfare of the dogs.
